My interest in photography centres around motorsport and car culture. Having developed a comprehensive professional portfolio of photographs for my FdA studies, I decided my third year BA work would be an opportunity to refine my work in a non commercial context.
I was keen to employ documentary strategies to focus on Car Culture in North Wales and offer a fly on the wall record of the community of dedicated modders that I belong to. Since the pandemic my work was put on hold, so I decided to explore the practice of documentary photography with a close group of friends who are also interested in the modified car culture and focus specifically on the people and their cars.
